Our Mission Statement

In a hostile, hurting world, we reach out to share kindness and laughter. Our spirituality is based on JESUS and His love and compassion. We provide a community of support and healing where all are welcomed and valued regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or economic status. In a world where people feel they can love only those who are like themselves, we seek to celebrate the uniqueness of every human being.

We are a Reconciling Congregation. To learn more about what that means click here.

Rev. Marissa van der Valk

One of my favorite Psalms is Psalm 139, the beauty and intricacy when we hear the words, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works that I know very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.” Living into these words and believing in them in the core of who we are is hard work. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
